At Benson Hill Elementary School, we are proud of the terrific partnerships we have between our parents, teachers, staff, students and individuals of the community.

We hope this web site provides useful information in keeping you informed on Events and Programs we sponsor throughout the school year. We hope that you all will get involved by attending our events; helping students in our educational programs; volunteering your time and talents in our classrooms; at our school; and at our PTA.

March  5,   Friday, Family Dance Night 6:00-8:00pm

March 15-26,   2 weeks, Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough Fundraiser (Last fundraiser of the year! Please support your PTA and School!)

March 23,   Tuesday, Chuck E. Cheese Family Night 4:00-8:00pm

March 29,   Monday, General Membership PTA Meeting 7:00-8:00pm School's Library 2010-2011 Executive Officers Elected (No April Meeting)

February 5-April 2,  40 School Days, Reading is an Adventure Program

Our new reading program has arrived and what an exciting time to start new adventures. Help us reach our goal of a million minutes in 55 days! Head to your library, read to your child or have them read to a sibiling. Help them and listen to them about the adventures they will learn as their reading continues to improve. Whether it's wrestling a boa in the amazon jungle, or fighting titans with Percy Jackson, or life after a waitress kisses the frog prince, or dinosaurs learning manners. Our children's imaginations will come to life while they read!

Benson Hill Elementary PTA, with the support of our wonderful teachers, look forward to all your children will learn and experience through our Reading is an Adventure program.

Prizes include: Free book, Winning lunch with the Principal, Each class with 100% participation will win a free ice cream party and
once the whole school reads a million minutes the whole school will get FREE popcorn!
