Thank you all so very much for your support!

* A Volunteer:  And of course, one of the best ways to support the Benson Hill Elementary School PTA is to join, and/or volunteer your time.  Volunteer time is a precious and important commodity, and vital to the heart of the PTA!

* Albertsons Community Partners:  If you already shop at Albertsons, this is a great program.  Albertsons donates a percentage of purchases back to the PTA.  All you need to do is tell the Albertsons Cashier to register you with “Community Partners”, and specify “Benson Hill Elementary PTA” as the recipient organization.  Albertsons does NOT track purchases, nor does it identify you as an individual.  It merely keeps track of the purchase amount to be credited to the PTA.  For more information, visit their website at www.albertsons.com/cp/

* Box Tops for Education:  We can earn cash up to $10,000 for our school with General Mills Box Top for Education program.  Just collect the “Box Tops for Education” labels on General Mills’s products (cereal boxes, fruit snacks, Yoplait Yogurt, and Lloyds Barbeque), and send them to the school's Main Office with your child.  That’s it!  Note: This contribution goes directly to Benson Hill School, not the PTA.  For more information, visit their website at www.boxtops4education.com.

* Labels for Education: The accumulated Campbell’s labels you send with your child to the school's Main Office add up to free educational equipment.  Look for the reminder symbols “Labels for Education” on eligible Campbell products, which include:  Campbell Soups, Franco-American, Pepperidge Farm, Prego, Swanson, V8, and V8 Splash.  For more information, visit their website at www.labelsforeducation.com.

* Laser, Inkjet, Fax & Copier Cartridges Recycling:  Empty cartridges from your home or office can be turned into cash, and also provides a benefit to the environment through recycling.  Just send your cartridges to the Benson Hill Elementary School Main Office.  If your employer or place of business normally tosses their cartridges, call Ecco-Recycles directly at (253) 813-9736, and they can arrange to pick them up on a regular basis.  If you already have a cartridge return policy in place, ask your employer if they would like to switch companies to benefit a local non-profit organization (the PTA).  For more information, visit their website at www.ecco-recycles.com.

* Office Depot:  This program gives you an opportunity help Benson Hill Elementary School receive credits for FREE Supplies when you shop at Office Depot for student school supplies, copies, etc.  Note: This contribution goes directly to Benson Hill Elementary School, not the PTA.  For more information, visit their website at www.officedepot.com/promo.do?file=/promo/backtoschool/5percent.jsp

* Matching Funds:  Many employers, such as Microsoft and Boeing have matching fund programs for your contributions (E.g. Innisbrook purchases, or pledge drive donations may apply).  Ask your Human Resources Director if they participate in such a program.

* Target:  Target has a wonderful “Take Charge of Education” program where they will donate 1% of your REDCard purchases at Target or Target.com to “Benson Hill Elementary School”.  If you have a Target REDCard, please call 1-800-659-2396, to designate Benson Hill Elementary School as your choice.  If you do not have a Target REDCard, you may apply on-line or at any Target store.  Note: This contribution goes directly to Benson Hill Elementary School, not the PTA.  For more information, visit their website at www.target.com and select the community link at the bottom of the page, then the education link.

* United Way:  If you support United Way, either through your employer, or individually, you can also support Benson Hill Elementary School PTA.  On the form from your employer for United Way enrollment, just specify Benson Hill Elementary School PTA, and the percentage of level of support.  United Way will coordinate all contributions and forward it to Benson Hill Elementary School PTA.  For more information, visit their website at United Way of King County.

* Other Ways to Contribute: Not all contributions are monetary donations.  Some employers may have grant programs for schools and PTA’s, or may look for a non-profit organization to donate equipment to, such as computers, printers, and other hardware.  There are always opportunities for businesses to reach out to the school community.  But many times, they just need to cross a bridge (contact) to get there.  If you can, be that contact in making that connection it would be great!
